The rooms, however, seemed to be in a state of disrepair, needing locks on the lavatory and shower. The service was truly exceptional though, with super friendly staff from the bellboys to the chef who pleasantly surprised us each evening, despite a slight inconvenience with an overcharging taxi driver. The hotel exceeded my expectations with its impeccable rooms that are spacious, well-equipped, and offer an amazing pool view for a little extra cost. The service was simply superb, with a special shoutout to Woody, Nida, Pear, Mint, and Jane in the Horizon Club. While the location is great for accessing shopping malls and the beach, some facilities were not up to par. The dining experience was exceptional with the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, although some amenities were missed like the buffet in the Executive club.
